Weapon free zone: to provide a safe environment for our youth, our facility is a weapon free zone. 

No smoking: please refrain from smoking on the property.

Medication management for children and adolescents. New patients must be age 10 or younger.  We treat the following issues in the pediatric population: depression, ADHD, anxiety, bipolar mood disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Eating Disorders.  We do not have the capability to treat patients who are struggling with aggression or substance abuse.

At this time, we are not taking any adult patients.


Spanish speaking -Dr. Wexler is fluent in Spanish.

Queer Friendly -Dr. Wexler welcomes lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender youth who are seeking care from a psychiatrist.  

Psychiatric Evaluation- ​For children and adolescents 1 – 3 visits, each 50 minutes long.  Patients will be seen both alone and in the presence of a parent.  Parents will also have the opportunity to visit with Dr. Wexler  alone. Currently not accepting adult patients.   


Autism Evaluation 
Dr. Wexler uses the Checklist for Autism Spectrum Disorder (CASD), and this requires a 90 minute visit.  If patient is under the age of six, or results inconclusive, Dr. Wexler recommends patient be evaluated using the ADOS at KU Medical Center for Child Health and Development; call 913-588-6300 for an appointment.  

Therapy- no longer available due to medication management demands.


Family/Parent/School Meetings- for an additional fee, our staff member may attend meetings at school.
